U.S. CC students going to Japan for BA degrees

Leeward Community College has an articulation agreement with Josai International University (JIU) through which JIU accepts Leeward students who have completed their AA degrees (or min 60 credits) into third year status in the JIU English-language BA program. Leeward CC has a particularly strong and popular Japanese language department, and there are many students interested in studying in Japan. Since 2012 Leeward has sent more than 10 students to JIU for their BA degrees, and currently one of the first students in this program is still at JIU pursuing his MA in TESOL degree.
