Partnership Basics
This section of the RoadMap provides step-by-step advice for creating effective, meaningful, and appropriate international partnerships, as well as sustaining such linkages over time. It is especially important for colleges and universities new to U.S.-Japanese collaborations, but also serves as a refresher course for those already engaged in this work. The elements of this section are unified by the idea that partnerships work best when they reflect on-going dialogue among partners and are embedded in institutional processes of goal-setting, planning, and support.
