Rikkyo University has been selected as one of the Top Global Universities in Japan. Under our initiatives of globalization, we seek international partners of student exchange, faculty exchange, and research collaboration. For student exchange program, we provide Japanese language courses (depending on the level of students: J0 to J8 levels). We also provide Japanese Studies (e.g. history, politics, economics, society, culture) as well as liberal arts courses. Academic courses from Sociology, Law and Politics, Tourism, Business, Intercultural Communication, and Contemporary Psychology are also available. All those courses are conducted in English. International students whose level of Japanese is J6 may be able to take regular courses in Japanese. International dormitories (off campus) and the scholarships of housing, JASSO, and MEXT are available for international students. In addition to the student exchange program, we also offer the Invitee Research Associate Program for faculty who wish to conduct research for the period of one week to one month, in which we may provide financial support for them.
