HACC currently has faculty-led study abroad and global service learning programs to about 20 countries. The College is interested in expanding into Japan. The programs have ranged from studies in criminal justice, ecology, languages, nursing to theater. HACC is interested in pursuing additional short-term study abroad and global service learning partnerships with Japanese institutions.

In addition to study abroad programs which sends American students out of country, HACC enrolls about 200 international students at its five campuses, every academic year. HACC is interested in developing formal articulation agreements that will enable Japanese students’ complete certificate and degree programs here at HACC, while also promoting other student exchange opportunities, for HACC students.
